A little bit about me – I have a degree in accounting and a brief background in finance, as well as a (very) small Github repo. But more importantly, I have an interest in both learning about health and fitness, and working on my own (here are some links to challenges I did recently – run, strength train.)
I’m a strong believer in both discomfort, and comfort. I think it’s important for our growth and development that we push ourselves and get out of our comfort zones; whether that be physically, socially, mentally, or spiritually. We only grow when we’re uncomfortable.
In a similar vein, I also believe in balance and finding comfort when appropriate. We need to rest for the sake of our health, but also to invest time into other areas of life, like relationships and mental health.
I’ve always enjoyed reading up on different topics relating to the mind and body. A lot of what I’ve read is difficult to decipher, and isn’t necessarily intended for the layman audience, which is where I got the idea for this blog.
Short form, source rich, easy to read content, written for the layman.
